Fans of Stranger Things will have a chance to weave through a corn maze at Exploration Acres in Lafayette, Indiana starting on September 14th.
Exploration Acres spans 20 acres and offers ten miles of paths throughout four mazes. Their site says that they have 28 advertisers who have hidden rewards throughout the maze; As you find each reward, punch your map to claim your rewards from those participating advertisers. Along with the corn maze, there are a number of other offerings for people to enjoy, which are included in your admission:
The Pumpkin Patch - The site for Exploration Acres says that their pumpkin patch sprawls over 11 acres and as 38 varieties of pumpkins and gourds to choose from. They also offer wagons so you don’t have to carry your chosen pumpkin around. The pumpkins range in weight from 1 to 200 pounds and are $ .35 a pound. Hayrides - You are able to tour the grounds of Exploration Acres by hayride! Relax in a spacious hay wagon which will be pulled by an antique tractor to get to and from the maze or the pumpkin patch! Straw Mound - Kids and kids at heart will be able to ‘dive into the simple joys of yesteryear by jumping into a big mound of straw’ in the Exploration Acres play area. Straw Tunnel - Children as young as two years old are allowed to have fun exploring the Exploration Acres straw tunnel! Also fun for adults. Sand Pile - Kids will love to pretend they’re working on the farm with shovels and buckets at the Sand Pile. If that weren’t enough, other activities include: Pedal carts, Trike Track, Tractor Train, Tube Slide, Shelled Corn Bin, Pony Swings, Ducky Races, Pumpkin Races, Tumble Tubes, Hoop-a-horse, Hop Bolls and Corn Hole!

Corn Cannon - Hurl ears of corn up to 500 feet. Three shots for $1 (Win a bottle of root beer if you hit the target) Gem Mine - For $5, you can ‘get your hands a little dirty and become a miner for a day!’ You can choose from bags of sand which include either gems or fossils. Combat Zone - For $4, you can get an unlimited wrist band and play laser tag. Each round is 7 - 10 minutes. If you’re interested in making S’Mores, you can reserve a fire pit on their site for $20
