Robert Rodriguez held a fundraising event for Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke at the director's 'Blank Check' Austin home on October 1st.

The event also featured winners from a filmmaking contest through Reel in the Votes. 

Famous attendees at the event included fellow contest judge Richard Linklater, actress Zooey Deschanel and her husband Jacob Pechenik.
